Investors Independent Trust Company was started in 1996 as a Colorado corporation. The principals previously held senior executive and product management positions with large financial institutions. They envisioned a closely held trust company specializing in comprehensive, personal trust solutions for Registered Investment Advisors throughout the country.

As a highly regulated financial institution, Investors Independent Trust Company is subject to annual audits by the Colorado Division of Banking. It must comply with all laws and regulations established by the state. This includes capital, competent management and staff, information systems and stringent accounting practices in order to keep their doors open for the trust business.

Hard work, careful attention to detail, accurate transaction processing and good value for trust services are the core values by which the firm has built its foundation.

WE COLLECT and MAINTAIN:

  • Information we receive from you to open an account or provide investment advice or other services to you (such as home address, telephone number, social security number, financial information, investment objectives and other information): and
  • Information that we generate to service your account or from transactions with you, our affiliates or others (such as account statements and other financial information); and
  • Information on your transactions with nonaffiliated third parties.

WE SELECTIVELY SHARE INFORMATION
In order for us to provide investment management and other services to you, we do disclose your personal information in very limited instances, which include:

  • Disclosure to nonaffiliated companies as permitted by law, including those who may help us service your account (such as custodians, tax preparation services and investment performance reporting services), each of whom have executed an agreement with us to treat your information as confidential;
  • Other limited disclosure as required by law (such as reports to government entities); and
  • We may share information with non affiliated third parties if we hav your consent, such as when you request it or you ask us to process a transaction that requires us to do so.

Except for these few instances, we do not share or sell your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
